If you’re reading this, it means you found the trail of crumbs I’ve been leaving. I suppose you also share a love for all things food, travel, and experiences which leave a sweet aftertaste, never to fade away.
I’m Victoria, a 27-year-old who was born and raised in Sydney Australia. Being of Greek heritage, I am naturally hospitality-minded and know the universal language of love has always been food. When language can prove to be a barrier, nothing brings people closer together than sharing a meal and raising a glass.
My appreciation for great restaurant and food concepts grew naturally as my career flourished, designing Hospitality venues alongside an amazing team. I think it actually solidified what was already there, an unrivaled curiosity about how one can make flavours dance and sing in harmony. These institutions don’t just serve food, they offer an experience and a chance to leave the mundane at home for a night. To convince you of my unwavering love for food and travel, I decided to move abroad and do the one thing I’ve always dreamed of… travel with the intent of uncovering all that contributes to the identity of one’s culture.
After a breath of fresh air, a ping-pong match with my thoughts, and countless doubts, the Leaving Crumbs Blog came to fruition.
I’m not endorsing escapism, though who doesn’t want to revel in the unknown or bask in some sweet nostalgia from time to time? Ask and you shall receive. Let’s Rendezvous friends.
